Amanda shared: "Sirkel Foods' menu is brimming with enticing salads, but it's their impressive selection of sandwiches that truly shine. With over a dozen options, ranging from classic favorites like Chicken Salad and Smoked Turkey to more adventurous creations like Toasted Brie and Apple, or House-Cured Salmon with Cream Cheese, there's something to satisfy every palate. As a takeout-only spot, grab your sandwiches and enjoy a picnic in Market Square or along the riverbank. My personal preference? The Pickle Snackers with Ham or Summer Sausage. My husband, John, on the other hand, is completely hooked on their Meatloaf Sandwich."
Amanda continues, "At the southern end of Wellington Street, you'll find Soup Surreal. Imagine the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld, but with incredibly kind owners, Derek and Ashley. Their menu features a daily rotation of four or more freshly prepared soups, including options like Mulligatawny, Carrot-Ginger, Beef-Barley, and Classic Chicken Noodle. I particularly appreciate their wide selection of frozen soups, perfect for a quick and delicious meal at home. Many of our B&B guests head home each year with a cooler full of these soups &ndash true soup connaisseurs! The menu thoughtfully indicates which soups are gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan."
