E2e On The G2g!
Huge congrats to Shawna and Dave, the friendly faces behind Ariel’s Bed and Breakfast and proud members of DiscoverStratford, on their recent accomplishment: conquering the “E2E on the G2G”! For those not in the know, this stands for “End to End on the Goderich to Guelph Rail Trail.” This impressive 132 km route repurposes old train tracks, creating a beautiful path connecting those two cities. Conveniently, the G2G trail is just a short drive from Stratford, making it easily accessible.  G2G website.
Shawna shared her enthusiasm, explaining that "the G2G trail is perfect for all ages, offering diverse outdoor activities like biking, hiking, running, and leisurely walks. It’s a fantastic way to experience varied landscapes, blending natural beauty with local history and agricultural scenes. The trail is safe, well-maintained thanks to community support, and we recently biked the entire length, from Guelph's green spaces to Goderich's lakefront. With access points near Stratford in Perth County, you can choose longer adventures or shorter excursions. As you travel, you’ll pass through forests, farmlands, river valleys, and charming small towns, providing an active contrast to Stratford's excellent dining, theatre, and shopping."
